North Holland is the Netherlands' fourth-largest province, extending from the edge of the Utrecht Hill Ridge and Hilversum in the southeast all the way north to Den Helder on the mainland and incorporates Texel, the first of the Frisian Islands archipelago. The nation's capital Amsterdam is part of North Holland and numerous smaller but equally appealing towns worth a visit such as Haarlem, Hoorn, Enkhuizen and Alkmaar fall within its borders. Why not browse a little to discover more about the province and interesting things to do and see.
